That I didn't start earlier. I started reading regularly at 16 because I couldn't get over the stereotype that reading is boring earlier, but hey I guess I could have started later.
That I didn't ignore stereotypes around certain types of books from the get go. Even though I am a man I found out that I enjoy romance, I found out that Dickens is not 'too wordy' and that Ulysses is not impossible for the common man to read.
That I wasted one month of my time reading Atlas Shrugged, when I could have started reading some of my other mammoth reads, such as Count of Monte Cristo. Seriously, I feel scammed. |
