Z wypowiedzi anonimowwgo naukowca izraelskiego wynikało, iż pomimo sporych trudności (Żydzi i Arabowie to antysemici), udało już się zidentyfikować specyficzne cechy genetyczne ludności arabskiej zamieszkujacej Irak - co być może pozowli na przełom w projekcie. Prace nad ową "etnobombą" wywołały skandal - także w Izraelu. Dedi Zucker, poseł do izraelskieog parlamentu - Knesetu, potępił badania oświadczając iż" z punktu widzenia moralnego, zważywszy na naszą historie, naszą tradycję i nasze doświadczenia - broń genetyczna jest koszmarem i jako taka winna być zakazana". Prace nad "etnobombą" jak wyżej przywodziły bowiem jednoznaczne skojarzenia z genetycznymi eksperymentami doktora Mengele w Auschwitz oraz znajdowały swoją oczywsitą paralelę do podobnego projektem w rasistowskiej RPA (i znów - o dziwo - mamy analogię między Izraelem i RPA) - gdzie zespół biologów prowadził prace nad "bronią pigmentacyjną" - bakcylem mającym razić tylko ludność murzyńską. Od 1998 r. minęło już prawie 20 lat. O wynikach badań jak wyżej, jak makiem zasiał - co jednakże nie oznacza iż możemy spać spokojnie. W 1977-ym w Izraelu wydano Historyczny Atlas Izraela.  Na str. 12 mamy informację o tym, jak to Żydzi przeszli na Islam.  A więc: po pierwsze - Rzymianie nie rozgonili ich na cztery wiatry. A po drugie: dzisiejsi Palestyńczycy są potomkami starożytnych Izraelitów. Jeśli zatem dzisiaj Żydzi twierdzą, że różnią się genetycznie od Arabów (oraz Palestyńczyków?), to czyimi są potomkami? Chazarów? Z domieszką krwi słowiańskiej?

Chazarów? Z domieszką krwi słowiańskiej?W przypadku Żydów aszkenazyjskich, to mniej więcej tak. Kilkanaście lat współżycia z narodami europejskimi nie mogło nie zmienić genotypu. Nie sposób odróżnić po wyglądzie Żyda europejskiego (czy amerykańskiego) od przeciętnego Europejczyka. Nie dotyczy to Żydów sefardyjskich (afrykańsko-azjatyckich) którzy przez te kilkanaście wieków współżyli z ludami semickimi i zachowali ich cechy genetyczne. Nie różnią się więc biologicznie od Arabów - a Żydzi pochodzenia sefardyjskiego stanowią około połowy żydowskiej populacji Izraela. Zdarzają się i czarni Żydzi pochodzący z Etiopii. Widać to gołym okiem po wycieczkach czy tez pielgrzymkach izraelskich do miejsc pamiątkowych w Polsce - to taka mieszanka rasowa, że tylko człowiek nienormalny może utrzymywać pogląd o istnieniu jakichś "żydowskich genów" czy "żydowskiej rasy".
